Senior Data Analyst

The research and investing teams are only as good as the data feeding them. White Walls is hiring a Senior Data Analyst to own the pipelines that pull, clean, and validate market data across the asset classes the fund holds, and to be the first to catch it when something looks wrong.

What you'll do

• Build and maintain pipelines for market data across equities, commodities, and digital assets
• Catch and correct data quality issues before they reach a model or a review
• Partner with quantitative research to ensure new models get accurate, well-structured inputs
• Document data sources and known limitations so the rest of the team can trust what they are using
• Improve the reliability and speed of existing data infrastructure over time

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience working with financial or market data pipelines
• Strong SQL and fluency in a scripting language such as Python
• A rigorous habit of validating data before it goes anywhere near a decision
• Clear communication when something in the data looks off
• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or technical field
